Sis. Grace Sherbutte, a member of Peace Tabernacle in Hillsboro, Mo. was diagnosed with Liver Cancer and was scheduled for surgery Jan. 15, 2009. The doctor told her that they would have to remove half of her Liver and it would be a four hour surgery. However the doctor came back to her family an hour and a half hour later and said, I am sorry we had to close her back up, because the cancer had spread throughout her liver and into her diaphragm ( the muscular partition between the chest cavity and the abdominal cavity). There was nothing they could do for her -- no hope and no cure, Chemotherapy would only prolong the dying. She refused any treatment for she believed the Lord was her healer.
She came home from the hospital three days later (on Sunday the 18th) and came back to our Senior Life Church on Wednesday morning at 10:00 A.M. (This is our regular service for our Senior Life Members). The Spirit of the Lord moved that morning. We laid hands on her in the Name of JESUS. There was a message in tongues and interpretation concerning Sis. Grace’s healing. She began to leap up and down and praise the Lord. (She still had her stitches and staple in the eighteen inch incision.) She never felt any pain or soreness. She was able to come back to the service that Wednesday night and the Spirit of the Lord moved on her again and she made several laps around the Church.
Sunday morning of March the 15th during our Youth Week Revival, she was still running as you can see from the picture.
She went to see her Ob/GYN doctor last week and he felt her stomach for fluid build up. He found none. He said if the cancer was there she would be full of fluid by now -- the cancer must be GONE!
Sis. Sherbutte was at our St. Louis Metro meeting this past March 5th feeling no pain or discomfort. Thank you Metro St. Louis members for praying for her. Keep her in your prayers.
