MEMORIAL TO SIS. MELBA CRAIG
"The fight is over! Melba has gone on to meet her reward. The cancer took her from me is only temporary and I promised her I'd see her again. She passed away at 2:45 AM this morning with all our children gathered around her as she took her last breath. She was just here long enough to help us make the final decisions of what she wanted. She just went to sleep peacefully and now in the arms of the God she served. Funeral services are pending and will inform you at a later date. Thanks for all your prayers for my sweet wife and family. I'll miss her. Jerry"

Seniors announce dates for Branson Missouri trip.
Mark your calendar for May 13-15 for our trip to Branson Missouri. Arrangements have been made for us to stay at the Dockers Inn. The cost will be $50.00 per night (for a group of up to 4 people). Yes, that is $12.50 per person per night if you have 4 in your room. What a bargain! We will be staying 2 nights so your cost for lodging will be $25.00 for both nights.
Reservations have been made for the 3:30 showing of Noah's Ark at Sight & Sound on May 14th. The cost of a ticket is $50.00 per person.
There is a FREE breakfast at Docker's Inn; however, you will be responsible for any additional food/meals that you may want on the trip.
We will have a room to gather in to have prayer and play games. It's the same room as the breakfast room, so after 11:00 it is ours.
Sis. Betty requests that we get our money to her before the trip so that she can write one check for the entire group. Thank you. |

Senior Life Ministries meet quarterly at the beautiful Royale Orleans Banquet Center, hosted Mr. by Forrest Miller, on the 1st Thursday of March, June, September, and December from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. It is a time filled with praise, worship and heart-felt singing from various churches, along with the "Apostolic Brass" playing the old favorites.
At the conclusion of the 'service', we have a wonderful banquet dinner served by the Royale Orleans Banquet Center which includes salad, hot rolls or french bread, 2 vegetables, 2 meats, pasta, dessert, unlimited soda, juice, and coffee all for only $10.00. Dinner is from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
We meet old acquaintances and make new friends. When we leave the Royale Orleans, we go home satisfied and well-fed - spiritually and physically. |
